Mengatasi Blue Screen Windows 10 TP

BSOD atau Blue Screen Of The Dead adalah keadaan dimana layar berubah menjadi biru yang disebabkan sistem yang tidak stabil.

Ketidakstabilan tersebut bermacam-macam bisa dikarenakan Driver yang tidak support, virus , sistem yang korup atau lain-lain.

Pada kali ini saya akan menulis SALAH SATU cara mengatasi BSOD di Windows 10 TP pada laptop saya.

Spesifikasi laptop saya:
HP G42 360 TX Core I3 ,RAM 4GB , ATI RADEON HD 5470 , Windows 10 Technical Preview 64bit build 9926.

Kronologi yang saya alami adalah laptop terkadang blue screen atau restart sendiri. Tampilan blue screen bermacam-macam sampai saya tidak hafal semuanya. Namun ada beberapa yang saya ingat diantaranya adalah :
- Header_pool bla bla bla
- Memory management Not bla bla bla
- Security Kernel not bla bla bla

Setelah saya browsing beberapa pesan BSOD diatas ternyata masalah macam-macam dan membuat saya bingung. Setelah mencoba beberapa tutorial nampaknya saya menemukan yang pas .

Dari penjelasannya ternyata driver Ati Radeon bawaan sistem tidak support di Windows 10. Padahal sudah terinstal AMD CATALIST yang terbaru.

Berikut langkah-langkahnya ( dalam bahasa Inggris)

– Step 1 Download and install the latest graphic driver.

– Step 2: Then go to C:\Windows\System32\Drivers and rename atikmdag.sys to atikmdag.sys.old.

– Step 3: Go to ati directory (usually in C:\ATI) and find the file atikmdag.sy_.

– Step 4: Copy the file to your Desktop directory.

– Step 5: Open cmd.exe by going to Start  type cmd in the search box and hit enter.

– Step 6: Change the directory to Desktop by typing chdir Desktop.

– Step 7: Then, type EXPAND.EXE atikmdag.sy_ atikmdag.sys. Or expand -r atikmdag.sy_ atikmdag.sys

– Step 8: When the expansion is complete, copy the new atikmdag.sys from your Desktop C:\Windows\System32\Drivers

– Step 9: Restart your computer and the problem should be resolved.
